We are currently managing our memberships through our Sloughkeepers Meetup Group. The $10/year fee helps us offset the costs of running the Meetup Group, which we have found to be the easiest way to keep everyone informed about our activities including our cleanup paddles.
Since most of our cleanup paddles take place during the Fall, Spring, and Winter seasons with their very high tides, we sometimes have to change dates with only a days’ notice due to bad weather. Using a Meetup Group to do this is the simplest solution for us right now.
If you are unable to afford the $10 fee, or would rather make a different kind of donation, please send us an email at email@example.com, and we will waive the Meetup fee. Please feel free to email us if you have any other questions as well.
